Catherine O'Flynn
Catherine O'Flynn, geboren 1970 in Birmingham, arbeitete u.a. im Plattenladen, bei der Post, als Lehrerin und als Testkäuferin, bevor sie ihren ersten Roman schrieb. Für "Was mit Kate geschah" gewann sie 2008 auf Anhieb den Preis für das beste Debüt beim renommierten Costa Book Award. Es folgte zahlreiche weitere Literaturpreise. Der Roman wurde in 24 Sprachen übersetzt und von der Presse hymnisch besprochen. Nach einigen Jahren in Barcelona lebt Catherine O'Flynn heute wieder in Birmingham.
