An almost erotic-free story of two women who met and influenced each other: linguistically, emotionally and structurally just wonderful!
I remain a fan of this author, I must admit.
You get some of Highsmith's personal and metaphorical exposition. This book forms an EXCEPTION of this writer, as she had not written a love story of this nature before & after this work. Which I think is a shame, since it was published at a time when most same-sex couples and love affairs had tragic endings.
The notes at the end were touching.

Eine sehr fesselnde Geschichte, ich konnte kaum aufhören zu lesen und das Buch war demnach leider auch viel zu früh fertig gelesen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Das Buch lässt sich auch angenehm in der Hand halten und hat eine gute Dicke.
