Die Geschichte spielt in der Gegenwart und in den 40er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts, zur Zeit der Deutschen Besatzung in der Champagne. Das Springen zwischen beiden Geschichten, gefällt mir gut. Am spannendsten fand ich die geschichtliche Rahmenhandlung -2. Weltkrieg, Resistance, Einfluss auf die Champagnerproduktion. Die Story ist typische Frauenunterhaltung, spannend erzählt, etwas vorhersehbar und mit Happy End. Gute Strandlektüre.
