Instant #1 New York Times Bestseller

Discover how rethinking can lead to excellence at work and wisdom in life

Intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world it might matter more that we can rethink and unlearn.

Organizational psychologist Adam Grant is an expert on opening other people's minds-and our own. As Wharton's top-rated professor and the bestselling author of
Originals and
Give and Take, he tries to argue like he's right but listen like he's wrong.

Think Again invites us to let go of views that are no longer serving us well and prize mental flexibility, humility, and curiosity over foolish consistency. If knowledge is power, knowing what we don't know is wisdom.

In a world of aggressive certitude, Adam Grant's latest book is a refreshing mandate for humble open-mindedness ... not just a useful lesson; it could be a vital one Financial Times

funny, descriptive & captivating

Bewertung aus Wien am 08.01.2022

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Think Again is a great book explaining how we should rethink our ideas and actions. The author teaches us how we can update our views, learn to be happy to make mistakes, be more persuasive and therefore win more arguments as well as why we shouldn't plan ahead so far in life. The book is full of so much mind-opening information that I can't mention all of it here. Adam Grant has a funny and captivating style of writing that pulls you to his book from the moment you first open it. Another positive aspect of "Think Again" is that it isn't just a "boring", 300 page long non-fiction book that teaches you something new, but uses diagrams and pictures to bring even more joy to the readers. Grant has mastered the art of bringing education and entertainment under one roof. I am quite surprised that I liked this book so much and can strongly recommend it to everyone over the age of 16 (also if you aren't particularly interested in reading non-fiction or psychological books), and am sure that you will enjoy it as much as I did!

Tolles Buch darüber, wie wir uns öfter hinterfragen sollten. Geschmückt mit verschiedenen psychologischen Studien und auch eine Portion Witz ist dabei.
