Topics treated in each issue reflect the disciplinary diversity of conferences and lectures organized at the Center during a given academic year, such as "Forms of Empire," "Ekphrasis in the Age of Cervantes," and "Foucault: New Deployments." Papers are published in the language in which they were presented--primarily English or French, but also other languages as the occasions warrant. Papers not written in English are prefaced by an English summary.
