Thomas Ruck's Growth through Customer Experience is a practical and inspiring book. When I met Thomas during the writing process, he explained his concept to me with full vigor on the whiteboard - and the result in the book is just as consistent and well thought out. I find the first two chapters explaining the model particularly strong and offer clear food for thought. My top 3 takeaways with new insights: 1. the Big Idea: Take a stand: A radical and clear stance is key. It's not just about purpose, but about creating a vision that connects customers to a community. 2nd Proposition Experience: Offering added value: The focus here is on the actual benefit and every customer touchpoint should create a consistent and high-quality experience. 3. communication experience: I like the insight that with brands like Google, the product benefits are so strong that expensive advertising campaigns are superfluous - word of mouth is enough here. All in all, a book that is not only theoretically sound, but also practically applicable. Good for getting new ideas and also exciting to read and a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to create sustainable growth through customer experiences!
