Portrait

Zhaohui Yang completed his B.S. in 2014 at Chien-Shiung Wu Honors College, Southeast University, and earned his Ph.D. in Communication and Information System from the National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory, Southeast University in 2018. He has since held distinguished postdoctoral positions at King’s College London and University College London. Currently, he is an esteemed young professor at Zhejiang University's College of Information Science and Electronic Engineering and a research scientist at Zhejiang Lab. Dr. Yang specializes in the integration of communication, sensing, and computation with a focus on federated learning, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, UAV, and NOMA technologies. His pioneering work in distributed AI and mobile communications is recognized globally, notably through his significant contributions to 6G white papers and technological standards.

Gang Sun (Senior Member, IEEE) is a full professor of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. His research interests include network virtualization, cloud computing, high performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, ubiquitous/pervasive computing, IoT and blockchain. He has (co)authored more than 180 technical publications including paper in refereed journals and conferences, invited papers and presentations and book chapters. He has been a visiting fellow at The Australian National University (2015-2016). He is a senior member of IEEE/IEEE Computer Society. He has also edited special issues at top journals, such as IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things Magazine. He is an editor of Discover Internet of Things journal and a regional editor (Asia) of Computing & AI Connect journal.

Xingwang Li is an Associate Professor at the School of Physics and Electronic Information Engineering, Henan Polytechnic University, Jiaozuo, China, from Jul. 2015. He was also a Visiting Researcher with Pro. Ping Zhang and Dr. Michail at State Key Laboratory of Networking and Switching Technology, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing China, and the Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology (ECIT), Queen’s University Belfast, Belfast, UK. He received his Master degree and PhD degree in communication and information systems, respectively, from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in Jul. 2010 and Jul. 2015, respectively. Before this, he worked at Comba as an engineer from Jul. 2010 to Aug. 2012. Dr. Li is the Senior Member of IEEE. He was listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University for citation impact in 2021. He is now the editor on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, etc.

Yongjun Xu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree (Hons.) in communication and information system from Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2015. From 2018 to 2019, he was a Visiting Scholar with Utah State University, Logan, UT, USA. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Communication and Information Engineering, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing, China. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 papers, including IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. His recent research interests include heterogeneous networks, resource allocation, reconfigurable intelligent surface, energy harvesting, backscatter communications, mobile edge computing, and UAV communications. He was the Editor of EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, Physical Communications, Digital Communications and Networks, and Journal of Electronics & Information Technology.
