Hate U Give

Special Collector's Edition

Sixteen-year-old Starr lives in two worlds: the poor neighbourhood where she was born and raised and her posh high school in the suburbs. I wanted to read the book before I watched the movie, and I'm very happy I did. I found the story really capturing and the plot is a very relevant social issue. The main character, Starr, is very lovable.

A strong, powerful, life changing story!

Be prepared to cry and to laugh; and then read it all over again, because it is truly amazing. The most memorable book you will read, with an important message, filled with grace, wisdom and integrity.

A must read

This book helps one understands the drive and passion behind #BlackLivesMatter movement and the fight against racism in America. The book is interesting and the story line is well thought out. Looking forward to the next one from the author.
