Geometric patterns are perhaps the most recognizable visual expressions of Islamic art and architecture. This title guides the reader through the basics, and is followed by some of the examples of geometric patterns from around the world. It is arranged into three levels of complexity.
Eric Broug studied Virtual Islamic and Traditional Arts at the Prince's Foundation in London and received a Master's Degree in History of Islamic Art & Architecture from the School of Oriental and African Studies. He now runs Broug Ateliers for Islamic Architecture, Arts and Crafts, a design team committed to creating and selling contemporary Islamic art.
