An Instant Classic and One of the Great Love Stories of Our Time

Andre Aciman's Call Me by Your Name is the story of a sudden and powerful romance that blossoms between an adolescent boy and a summer guest at his parents' cliffside mansion on the Italian Riviera. Each is unprepared for the consequences of their attraction, when, during the restless summer weeks, unrelenting currents of obsession, fascination, and desire intensify their passion and test the charged ground between them. Recklessly, the two verge toward the one thing both fear they may never truly find again: total intimacy. It is an instant classic and one of the great love stories of our time.

A beautiful and wise book... A miracle. Colm Tóibín, author of Brooklyn

Andre Aciman - King of heartbreak
von Theo aus Stuttgart am 11.04.2021

Andre Aciman writes falling in love and heartbreak like no other. While you read this book you feel all Elio feels, you feel all Oliver feels. The ending sums up the story perfectly, leaving the reader wanting more, but knowing that I'll only make you feel worst if you do. I like to re-read it whenever I feel down, just to feel ... mein aller aller Lieblingsbuch. Der Schreibstil ist wunderschön und die Geschichte berührt mich jedes Mal, wenn ich an Elio und Oliver denke. Würde aber empfehlen das Buch auf Englisch zu lesen. Würde jedem raten dieses Buch zu lesen.
