Life, T: The Great LIFE Photographers
New to paperback, with a foreword by Gordon Parks and 600 photos in colour and duotone. 'I cannot recommend the "LIFE" collection highly enough' "The Guardian"
Time owner Henry Luce bought LIFE magazine in 1936, solely so that he could acquire the rights to its name, and launched a major weekly news magazine with a strong emphasis on photojournalism. Life was published weekly until 1972, as an intermittent special edition until 1978, and as a monthly edition from 1978 to 2000.
