Beschreibung

It's not just a game when you're running for your life.

Every night they tuned in to the nation's favourite prime-time TV game show.

They all watched, from the sprawling slums to the security-obsessed enclaves of the rich. They all watched the ultimate live death game as the contestants tried to bet not the clock, but annihhilation at the hands of the Hunters. Survive thirty days and win the billion dollar jackpot - that was the promise. But the odds were brutal and the game rigged. Best score so far was eight days.

And now there was a new contestant, the latest running man, staking his life while a nation watched.

Merely by tickling the keys of his word-processor King can make the flesh creep half a world away The Times

Let me just say that this book could easily have a film adaptation. You would think - will he survive those 30 days? Will he die? How long will he survive? But after some time you realizw that the story has all the time unexpectable turns and it also ends that way. It will totally consume you, it will be a need to read it who... Let me just say that this book could easily have a film adaptation. You would think - will he survive those 30 days? Will he die? How long will he survive? But after some time you realizw that the story has all the time unexpectable turns and it also ends that way. It will totally consume you, it will be a need to read it whole in a day or 2 at some point. You'll just be too curious to read only a bit. Totally recommend.
