Daher ist das Buch nach wie vor wichtig und aktuell. Hier in der Jubiläumsausgabe, die der Erstausgabe nachempfunden wurde. Besonders schön fällt der raue Buchschnitt ins Auge. Nur beim Einband hätte ich mir Leinen statt Papier gewünscht, das tut dem Gesamteindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Alles in Allem ein schönes Sammlerstück!

John Steinbeck (1902–1968) was born in Salinas, California, and died in New York City. He remains one of the most prolific and influential authors of his generation and won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962.
