Die Handlung ist eher kurz und daher Recht überschaubar. Auch kommen nicht zu viele Charaktere vor. Die Sprache ist manchmal etwas schwer zu verstehen, aber dennoch eignet sich das Buch meiner Meinung nach gut für Personen, die gerade anfangen englische Bücher zu lesen. Die eigentliche Geschichte umfasst nur ca. 100 Seiten.

In The Time Machine by H. G. He soon discovers the reason for their fear - the Eloi are not the only race to have inherited the earth. When his time machine disappears, the Time Traveller must descend alone into the subterranean tunnels of the Morlocks - a terrifying, carnivorous people who toil in darkness - to reclaim it.
