This book is part of a series, but I don't think it's necessary to have read the other books about Robert Langdon. It's not difficult to read. This book is part of a series, but I don't think it's necessary to have read the other books about Robert Langdon. It's not difficult to read. Many characters appear in this volume, every one of them well described in detail. What I liked the most were the mentions of special places around the world and that they really exist. And if a reader is interested, it's even possible to look these places up on the internet to get some more pieces of information and pictures as well. But this is nothing new in the Robert Langdon series, and maybe not for everyone. The story held me definitely in its grip, maybe not from the start because it took a little while to get into it, but after that, until the end, I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this novel to readers who like adventures with crime involved, with a lot of architectural background information, and for every age. I hope this is not the last part in this serie.
