Ruth Berger, geboren 1967, studierte neben Turksprachen, Hebräisch und Englisch allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft und Biologie. Sie schrieb ihre Magisterarbeit über die Geschichte der Anthropologie, promovierte in Judaistik und arbeitete als Judaistin an verschiedenen deutschen Universitäten. Heute lebt sie als freie Autorin in Frankfurt am Main.
