I am truly torn apart because of this book: On the one hand I am really happy to see that the story comes to a conclusion, on the other hand I could cry BECAUSE it comes to a conclusion. I just don’t want it to end. And there is still no TV-Show in sight (Netflix, HBO, Sci-Fi…someone!!!!! Series-Gold here, I tell you that). I... I am truly torn apart because of this book: On the one hand I am really happy to see that the story comes to a conclusion, on the other hand I could cry BECAUSE it comes to a conclusion. I just don’t want it to end. And there is still no TV-Show in sight (Netflix, HBO, Sci-Fi…someone!!!!! Series-Gold here, I tell you that). I don’t want to tell you too much about the story, actually I won’t tell you anything. If you made it this far you already know what’s going on. Important is: The book is as good as the last two and a must read for every sci-fi fan, or for anyone who just wants to read a good and interesting story. I, personally, loved it.

Fazit: Würdiges Ende einer super Reihe!

Inhalt Und wieder sind 10 Jahre vergangen. Rose, Vincent und Eva haben diese Zeit auf einem fremden Planeten verbracht. Als sie auf die Erde zurückkommen, herrscht Krieg und jeder misstraut jedem. Wird es ihnen gelingen die Menschheit zu retten? Persönliche Meinung Nochmals ein Zeitsprung von 10 Jahren! Echt heftig. Dieses mal fand ich es aber fast zu lange. 10 Jahre sind eine meeeega lange Zeit! Wieso konnten die nicht vorher gehen? (Wird erklärt! Aber trotzdem... 10 Jahre?!?! Was haben die 14 Stunden gemacht? Däumchen gedreht?) «So what do you say? Do you wanna help me? I have cookies!» Erstmal auf der Erde zurück und ich musste Schlucken. Die Richtung in die sich die Geschichte entwickelt missfiel mir zunehmend. Nachdem es durchgehend eine spannende, witzige und kluge Geschichte war, fokussierte Neuvel auf einmal auf Menschenrechte und Rassismus. Mir gefiel dieser Part echt nicht. «-Ah! Dr. Franklin! Come! Sit! -Mr. Burns! I got your note, but I wasn’t sure it was you. -Do many people leave you notes pretending to be me?» Den Anfang mochte ich sehr! Nachdem wir ja leider meinen Lieblingscharakter verloren haben, war ich nicht sicher, wie sich das hier entwickeln würde, aber hei- wir bekommen Katherine! Crazy Bitch! Ich habe sie geliebt! Die Gespräche waren bissig, sarkastisch, richtig unterhaltend für mich und dann kam eben besagter Mittelpart, indem der Leser erfährt, dass die Menschen in Klassen eingeteilt wurden und gewisse Rassen benachteiligt sind. Puh. Come on. Das war einfach too much, too forced. Es hat nicht gepasst. Ich habe mich gefragt: Gut und recht, aber was sucht das in dieser Reihe? Ich wollte nicht über Rassismus und benachteiligte Menschen lesen. Ich wollte Sci-Fi, wie in den ersten beiden Bändern. Gut hat Neuvel die Kurve gekriegt und der Schluss wurde wieder super! Echt super! Ich habe Tränen vergossen! «-She left a note. -What did t say? -It said: «Dad, how the hell could Katherine possibly know what I wrote? She just found out about that note.“» Eine unglaublich tolle, witzige, spannende, emotionale, sarkastische Sci-Fi Reihe die ich wirklich nur empfehlen kann!!! Es hat so viel Spass gemacht diese Bücher zu lesen! Fazit: Würdiges Ende einer super Reihe!
