LONE WOLF: the new novel by the world's bestselling women's fiction author. Edward is a prodigal son who left home after an irreparable fight with his father, Luke. Now Luke lies comatose in hospital, gravely injured. Cara still holds a grudge against her brother, since his departure led to her parents' divorce. With Luke's chances for recovery dwindling, she wants to wait for a miracle. But Edward wants to terminate life support and donate his father's organs...

I was a bit worried that I would be slightly disappointed by the end like I was with her other two books I have read so far, but this time it definitely was not the case. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, from the beginning to the end. In this book, Ms. Picoult attempts to bring us a little closer to understanding wolves, and definitely achieves her goal. After reading this book, I have a new found respect for these amazing creatures and will be researching them a little more as well as reading her recommended further reading. Not only does this book allow us to appreciate these wondrous creatures, but Ms. Picoult also manages to intertwine a story highlighting the fine family connections and boundaries that we may all come to pass. I think Jodi Picoult is a very talented author, and as I progress through her books, (I seem to be on a Jodi Picoult path right now), I appreciate her writing style all the more.
