As background, the authors discuss religious education concepts, draw on relevance theories and provide practical ideas.
The focus is on three objectives: communicatively, practising joint democratic negotiations; didactically, sharing responsibility for teaching and learning processes; and theologically, promoting religious maturity and positioning. The book presents a passionate plea for religious education that does not dictate relevant topics, but rather brings them to the fore.
