  Manche Bücher liest man, andere erlebt man – und Ich bin Gideon ist definitiv Letzteres. Es ist ein wilder, gnadenloser Ritt durch ein Universum voller düsterer Geheimnisse, messerscharfem Humor und Figuren, die sich mit unerbittlicher Wucht ins Herz brennen. Tamsyn Muir erschafft eine Welt, die ebenso faszinierend wie erbarmungslos ist, mit einer Protagonistin, die sich mit jeder sarkastischen Bemerkung tiefer in mein Herz geboxt hat. Doch hinter all dem Witz und der rohen Energie steckt eine emotionale Wucht, die einen unvorbereitet trifft. Jede Seite ist geladen mit Spannung, jeder Dialog ein Tanz zwischen Ironie und Tragik. Und dann gibt es diese Momente – diese brutalen, wunderschönen, herzzerreißenden Momente –, die einem das Herz aus der Brust reißen und es nie wieder ganz zurückgeben. Ich bin Gideon ist kein Buch, das man einfach liest und dann ins Regal stellt. Es ist ein Buch, das einen verfolgt, zerreißt und trotzdem mit einer seltsamen Wärme zurücklässt. Absolut brillant – und absolut zerstörerisch.

  Initially I wasnt that invested and fond of the book, and only got it because it has lesbians, but after I started it and came around, this will probably be a 2026 Highlight. Not a fan of "cozy", since i usually find it boring but this was everything BUT boring. So well executed, the found family was lovely, the story soooo interesting and i loved the solution to the main problem, it was rather unique. As well as the world. Also. I now have a big lesbian crush on Amelia. Sueee me idc. I really really need a release date for the sequel.

  The Luminous Dead

  This was reccomended to me when i asked online for sapphic SciFi books, so I expected the SciFi focus to be way heavier. I didnt expect the thriller this was, it kept me on my seats edge the whole time. What an amazing, fucked up read. This was so different and refreshing, I applaud the Author!!! Eerie, scary, atmospheric...I went through every emotion available while reading this, every single one. Need to see if the author has any more books like this.

  Hat absolut alles, was ein grandioses Buch braucht. Elsbians, Asexuals and greek mythology? Sign me upppp Cant wait for another sapphic book by Bea!!! Will definetly be picking up more by this autor

  All the Dead Lie Down

  It was absolutely brilliant. This was the second time I picked this book up, but im so glad i didnt give up after the first two pages didnt pull me in the first time. Didnt expect it honestly, I picked it up after two other books just couldnt entertain me trying to avoid a reading slump and holy success. It was giving The Haunting of Bly Manor in the best way possible.

  I actually started this a while ago and kind of forgot about it after putting it down, but holy moly was I glad to have picked it back up again. Boy was I missing out!! Absolutely loveeeed this one. I took it to work, thinking i wouldnt have time to finish it, finished it on my breaks and was super mad i didnt take book 2 with me to keep going immediately XD

  I really adored this authors writing. The way they made me fall in love with a sentient spaceship??? Holy! Ordered the other book in this Universe right away haha I was so emotional about this arranged marriage arghhh. The Ships Name really put me off in the beginning but when I really got into it, I coudnt care less.
