Faced with the death of any type individuals to do grieve. However, in African cultures males suppress emotions when bereaved by the death of their loved ones. When men suppress grief ,the grieving process is denied or avoided. Males pay high prices for their repressed grief both at social and individual levels. In Zimbabwe the grief process is complicated by the delay in the initiation of funeral and morning rituals as a result of unfinished family businesses within the extended families. A pastoral care giver should therefore help males to grieve and empower the community with the biblical truth about mourning. He/she be the connecting link between the grieving males to the bereaved males, the grieving males to the bereaved community and the grieving males to Christ the chief shepherd who pronounces blessings to the men who would mourn.
