The Editor: Ursula E. Beitter is the Professor of German in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Loyola College in Maryland, and the organizer of the annual New Europe at the Crossroads Conference. She received her Ph.D. in German Studies from New York University and has published on foreign language pedagogy and fairy tales. Dr. Beitter is also the editor of the Loyola College in Maryland book series: Contemporary German Literature and Society.
