The main causes triggered recent global financial crisis and the topic of bank bailouts in the US were discussed and debated thoroughly. Financial statements of four medium-sized commercial banks are reviewed, in order to elicit and understand which specific features were taken into account by the US government to give a hand to a bank in difficult economic situation.
