Ben and Edie McCormack worked their whole lives, trying to save up enough money to raise their two daughters and have a little left over for their retirement. But most disturbing is the dusty old Winnebago that rolls into camp, with the covered windows and the strange noises coming from within. Like a boy poking at a hornet's nest with a stick, Ben has no way to know that his curiosity will let loose a series of events that'll change all of their lives forever.
Surviving the summer at Silver Springs will force Ben and Edie to summon the strength of their time-tested marriage, stripping away the weathered resentments between parents, children and siblings, revealing the resilience of an American family rebuilding their American dream.
