Metal oxide nanoparticles are chemically very stable compounds; hence they can be used for the vast number of applications. TiO2 nano material having hydrophobic nature, non-wettability, non-toxicity, it can be used for the self-cleaning coating of ceramics, glass and sports equipments, whereas MgO nano materials shows the good anti-bacterial activity. In the project synthesis of metal oxide using to two different techniques called "Co-Precipitation" and "Green Synthesis", and compare the results using appropriate characterization. Extract of Lotus Leaves was used as reducing agent instead of NaOH in Green synthesis method. The obtained nano materials were characterized using XRD, PSA, FESEM, EDAX, TEM, FTIR, UV-VISIBLE and TG-DTA. The material applications were studied not only for self-cleaning nature using contact angle but also for anti-bacterial activity.
