Mit absolutem Tiefgang erzählt uns Mohammed über sein anfänglich wunderschönes Leben in Syrien, den Beginn des Krieges und den daraus einhergehenden erschütternden Erlebnissen, und letztendlich seine lebensgefährliche Flucht.
Ein Buch das von Angst, Verlust, Sehnsucht aber auch von Hoffnung handelt.
Die Autoren haben es geschafft so bildgewaltig zu schreiben, dass man das Gefühl hat beim Lesen hautnah im Geschehen dabei gewesen zu sein.
Es ist ein wachrüttelndes Buch und von so großer Bedeutung für uns alle.
Ich wünsche Mohammed von Herzen, dass er eine Möglichkeit bekommt wieder mit seiner ganzen Familie vereint zu sein, wo seine Wurzeln und sein Herz zu Hause sind.
