The International Bureau of Education (1925-1968) "The Ascent From the Individual to the Universal"

This study makes an important contribution to the history of international organisations in education by shedding light on a lesser-known organisation with a long history. The 22 chapters provide valuable insights into how international organisations can adapt to changing historical circumstances, including the Second World War, the Cold War, decolonisation and the emergence of new international organisations.
