"Citizens of the Cosmos is the first book to survey the artist's filmic output informed by Cosmism. Cosmism is a set of theories and projects--philosophical, artistic, scientific--drawing from discourses of Orthodox Christianity, Enlightenment thinking, Eastern philosophy, and Marxism, and advancing conceptions of technological immortality, resurrection, space travel, and interplanetarism.
