A Book That Will Make You Cry

Bewertung am 31.08.2023

Bewertungsnummer: 2011733

Bewertet: Buch (Taschenbuch)

Someone told me about this book. It just came out a few weeks ago and I know a bunch of people who are reading it. Most Camino books are memoirs, and many of them are similar. Some people like to read about other people's experiences before they go on Camino. Or even afterward. I didn't want to do either as I had my own experience I didn't want it tainted by someone else´s. But, this book isn't like that. It is a novel, so of course it is not a true story. But it reads like watching a movie. The story grabbed me from the first moment and didn't let go. It's well written. Every scene pushes the story along. Some books have dead spots that I want to skip past. But this story wasn't like that. And I cried so many times throughout. It should be a movie. I heard there is another book coming out that continues the story and the end of the book leaves it like there should be. I will definitely read the next book.
