Mountains Made of Glass

As a fan of Scarlett St. Clair I knew I was gonna pick it up sooner or later but then my friend who has a superb taste in books recommended it to me as well and I simply had to read it immediately. Mountains Made of Glass is a Fairy Tale retelling of a different kind. It mixes well known Fairy Tale elements and as a huuuuge fan of the darkness of the original fairy tales, this was definitely something for me! I loved the characters, the setting and the conflict of interest all equally and it made me want to read it in one go. I also thought that is was really funny. Especially the Prince with some people of his court made me laugh out loud. It is quite short compared to other books of St. Clair, but I think it has the perfect length for the story it wanted to tell. Also my edition of the book is beautifully illustrated which was a huge plus for me. Can't wait for the other books of this series, because each of the seven Elven princes will get their own story.
