Das Buch ist für Anfänger geeignet. Es ist 60% genereller Schreibratgeber und 40% speziell für Romantasy. Die Kapitel sind sinnvoll aufeinander aufgebaut und am Ende jedes Kapitels folgt eine kurze Zusammenfassung der wichtigsten Punkte. Ich habe schon einige Romantasy-Bücher gelesen, und dieses Buch vermittelt die Grundlagen, wie man selbst ein spannendes Romantasy-Paar entwickelt und einen Plot. Da ich kein Romance Leser bin, wusste ich nicht, dass ein Happy End Pflicht ist in diesem Genre.
Das Buch ist mit viel Witz und Charm geschrieben und hat einen hohen Unterhaltungswert. Es ist vor allem für Anfänger geeignet und bietet einen guten Überblick. Manchmal hätte ich mir bessere Beispiele oder eine klarere Anweisung erhofft, aber dafür ist am Ende noch einen Liste mit weiteren Qeullen.
Ein spannendes Buch, wenn man mit dem Gedanken spielt, Romantasy zu schreiben oder das Genre besser verstehen will.
