Stanley Renshon is Professor of Political Science at the City University of New York, Herbert H. Lehman College and the Graduate School and University Center, USA, and a certified psychoanalyst. He is the author of over 100 professional articles and 18 books in the areas of presidential psychology and leadership, immigration and American national identity, and American foreign policy.

Peter Suedfeld is Dean Emeritus of Graduate Studies and Professor Emeritus of Psychology at The University of British Columbia. His research focuses on resilience, decision-making and other psychological processes of people under stress in political and military leadership positions, extreme and unusual environments such as polar and space stations, and experiencing persecution and genocide. He is the co-editor with Stanley Renshon of two previous books, on the foreign policy doctrines of Presidents G.W. Bush and D.J. Trump.
