i've always been very involved with Marina's work, but this book connected me with her work even more than i already was - i was entranced by her writing , her unique perspective , her story ... it gave me lots of insight into what actually goes into her pieces , rather than just seeing the execution i generally don't read a lot but i finished this book quicker than i ever have , i could not put it down and nearly every sentence made me stop to think - which is something i value greatly

Marina explains her life in super interesting detail from child to her 60+ year old self with all the emotional dramas, career paths, ups and downs. There was not one page i did not like, Marina is a wonderful women of great intelligence. Loved it, will read again!
