The use of herbal medicines during pregnancy from other countries ranges from 7.0% to 55.0%. Although there was no reported study directly linking the use of herbal medicines during pregnancy and perinatal mortality, several studies revealed the adverse effects of herbal medicines to the fetus, which may lead to perinatal death.
