Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) studies human excellence and applies to every field of human endeavour. This book shares the expertise of some of the top Society of NLP Master trainers' in thier chosen fields of endeavour. In this book we explore seven of the most important practical applications of NLP. In fields such as hypnosis, coaching and public speaking NLP is successful and well known. Yet there are applications where the role of NLP is less well known,. NLP brings out the best in people, whether it is in Sport, Education, Health or Business.
This book brings together some of the very best people in their field. Headlining, we have Richard Bandler, co-founder of NLP, discussing hypnosis as an application of NLP. President of The Society of NLP, John La Valle, delves into the communications aspects of running a business. Garner Thomson, president of The Society of Medical NLP, shows how to apply NLP skills in health organisations. Kate Benson, International director for Education for the Society of NLP, applies NLP in the field of education. Alessio Roberti as International Director for Business Coaching for the Society of NLP, explains how to apply NLP to the world of business coaching. Anders Piper, International Director for Sports Performance Coaching, together with Alessandro Mora, topcoach of Olympic sporters, write about how to use NLP to excell at sport. Finally Owen Fitzpatrick, international trainer and co-author with Dr Richard Bandler, applies his enthusiasm and expertise to how NLP can improve your public speaking.
In all cases, these excellent writers demonstrate the way NLP ought to be used: not as a theory to be learned by heart, but as an active application of excellence in their fields. So whether your interest lies at hypnosis, business, health, education, coaching, sports or public speaking and you want to add NLP to the mix, this book is for you.
