Maya Daykeeping Three Calendars from Highland Guatemala

John M. Weeks is the museum librarian and a consulting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.Frauke Sachse received her docotorate in Linguisitcs from Leiden University and is assistant professor at the University of Bonn. Dr. phil. Christian M. Prager is associate lecturer for Mayan studies and cultural anthropology at the Department of Anthropology of the Americas, University of Bonn, Germany. He earned his Master's and doctoral degree at the University of Bonn and wrote his Master's thesis on the hieroglyphic inscription of Pusilha. His doctoral thesis focuses on the k'uh deity concept in Classic Maya religion. He conducted epigraphic field work at Pusilha and his key areas of research include Maya epigraphy, religions of the Americas and cognitive science of religion. He serves on board of WAYEB, the European Association of Mayanists and is also editor of the journal "Mexicon."
