It felt like I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride with the wind in my face, over and over again. Morning Star tested my trust in the characters and my belief in something better, in victory over "evil and tyranny". Golden Son struck me with its pace, its vivid portrayal of relationships, and the moments of betrayal. But here, I experienced fear, despair, forgiveness, hope, and glimpses of joy and relief.
And yet, strangely enough, it's impossible to put this series aside. It both destroys me emotionally and gives me strength — a paradox, but true.

Morning Star
I love this book as much as the first two. It just gets better and better, but also more gruesome and conflicting.
I also think the writing gets more elaborate and the plot is still not predictable, because although we have Darrow's POV some scenes/details are only added in hindsight. This kept me on my toes as I was always trying to find out which details would give hints to the overall story line.
I can only highly recommend this series.

Godlike
Extrem guter Abschluss der Trilogie, Pierce Brown wird mit jedem Buch besser. Would be an epic tv show.
