Hotel Reichshof Hamburg: A great house tells its story and that of the people who shaped it. The hotel architecture and interior decoration of 100 years ago are still in evidence. When Hotel Reichshof closed its doors in 2014, the authors of this publication managed to document it once more. Their affectionate photographs show the great aesthetic of this house even where life has left its marks. The authors vividly portrait employees whose memories and anecdotes explain the special role this hotel has always played. A prospect at the end of the book gives a glimpse of the newly renovated Reichshof after it reopened in 2015. Readers who cherish the special aura of historical European hotels will enjoy the lavish design of this book.
