There are only 21 players alive who have kicked 100 goals in a season. These are golden moments in AFL football. These are players who by their skill created their own records and delighted the fans. Even today the idea of Buddy Franklin kicking 100 goals this season is being talked about in hushed tones. Will he do it? Is it possible in the fast-paced modern game? The players bring back the thrill of the chase to 100 with their own recollections of the time. Among them are some of the greats of the game – Doug Wade, Peter Hudson, Alex Jeaulenko, Peter McKenna, Gary Ablett, Tony Lockett, Buddy Franklin, Matthew Lloyd, Peter Sumich, Fraser Gehrig, Malcolm Blight and more. Great representatives for their clubs and cheered forever more by the fans. Most are household names, all have an interesting story to tell. Fascinating inside stories from Jon Anderson from players who were at the pinnacle of their careers.
