Fantastic
I love this book to death and back. The characters are really well built and the world complex. It was my first big book I read and I felt engrossed from the first page. I can't express how interesting and gripping it is. I wish I could read this for the first time again, even though I find cliffhangers absurdly frustrating. It's a must read that is literally impossible to put down and I will never shut up about it. This book will always be in my heart and in the back of my mind. I love you, Leigh Bardugo.

thrilling
I am in Love with the writing style of this author, she manages to creat such a scary atmosphere. While also adding just the right kind of humor for me. I was so wrapped up in the story I could barely put my book down. You do gotta pay a lot of attention though so it wasn't an easy read especialy if you're not reading it in you first language. :)

Buch (Taschenbuch)
Leigh Bardugo has surprised me again with this unbelievable story
The only thing I knew about Yale was, that it is an university in the U. S. and I had never thought that a book about its societies could be so good. There are various things that make "Ninth House" a great novel, the writing style of Bardugo (which allows every reader to become a part of the story), the dark but magical rituals, the increadable story strucutre or the exciting riddle laid out infront of us. But for me the best thing about "Ninth House" is the main charater Alex. She is not a good girl that smiles to everyone and has a nice life, but she is strong and despite her dark (criminal) past honest to the reader on every single page of the book. Her brave and strength has inspired me and the writing style of Bardugo did the rest and moved me to tears, made me laugh and made me think about our word as well. This book is a must-read for every fan of Leigh Bardugo or Naomi Novik and I recomend it to everyone who likes exciting, breathtaking an magical storys that tell us relentlessly of human abysses. However, I have to warn everyone who reacts sensitive on brutality, etc. to be carefully by reading this book because it tells us as I said ruthlessly about every detail of the truth.
