Liber Psalmorum, The West-Saxon Psalms: Being The Prose Portion, Or The First Fifty, Of The So-Called Paris Psalter (1907) is a book written by James Wilson Bright. The book is a collection of the first fifty Psalms from the Paris Psalter, which is a manuscript containing the Book of Psalms in Latin. The West-Saxon Psalms are the prose portion of the Paris Psalter, and this book presents a translation of these psalms into English. The translation is based on the West-Saxon dialect of Old English, which was spoken in the south and west of England during the Anglo-Saxon period. The book provides a valuable resource for scholars of Old English literature and the history of the English language, as well as for those interested in the history of the Christian church and its liturgical practices. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
