Third in the Keeper of the Souls series set in the American West, 1980. A Scattering of Clouds tells the riveting story of a Lakota Indian, Oliver White Cloud, in search of his missing father, leading him to a corrupt town, run by an even more corrupt sheriff, with a penchant for hanging Indians.
Sam Colton, on his way back from Los Angeles meets Oliver in the town of Miners Gulch, setting off a series of tumultuous events where they stumble upon chilling secrets... their lives in peril. Awaiting their fate, a few unlikely allies appear... three teenage girls, an unorthodox pastor and flock of crows.
This compelling and complex book will captivate the most spirited imaginations with its heartfelt drama/western filled with adventure and magical realism.
