St. Jude’s was once a busy hospital, but after years of being neglected, no one seems to care what is going to happen to the place. When a mummified body is discovered, all plans to demolish the building are at a standstill. Dr David Hunter is called for assistance.
In this sixth book of the series, David Hunter gets into another round of finding the truth in a crime investigation. His forensic expertise is once again highly in demand. His experience is highly valued among the police force.
I am closing in on the goal of reading the whole series before diving into the newest release. I am not yet tired of reading about decomposition or the examination of a body. Every time I get new tidbits, wrapped up nicely into a story. The scientific background is always informative, not just thrown in blandly and dryly. Another point I found suitable was the moment when David Hunter could answer some questions about occurrences that happened in the past. It was about time and came at the right moment. I hope to encounter the conclusion in the next book.
