    Buch (Taschenbuch)

    Wonderful

I'm kinda speechless. I absolutely enjoyed and loved reading this book, it was all that I needed – everything I needed to hear, everything I needed to feel. This was so relatable and that experience was so new for me... it opened a new world. It makes you feel less alone, while being... beautiful in it's own way. Additionally – I just fell in love with most of the characters, especially Avery and Cass.

A fabulously sad and gay book, definetly worth a read!

This is a fabulously sad but also romantic story about finding something or rather someone you want to live for. The main character Avery is a deeply relatable character, that made me revisit moments from my own personal past. This book is about rediscovering love all while facing the end of the world and your own ruinous thoughts.

    My Heart

This will forever be my favorite book. I even read it twice. It is written in such a capturing style and gives the opportunity to feel with alle the amazing characters. There is so much development of the characters in such a heartwarming, loving way. The lesbian representation is great. The way she captures depression is perfect. I can’t find other words. I felt so understood and learned as well. So please please read this book!

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

a very tender sapphic coming of age story

This novel is a beautifully heartfelt coming-of-age story set against the backdrop of an impending apocalypse. It follows a young sapphic protagonist as she navigates depression, queerness within a strict Catholic community, and the overwhelming weight of self-discovery—all while the world inches toward its inevitable end. What makes this book so special is its deeply lovable characters. Each one feels authentic and raw, making the emotional journey all the more impactful. While romance is present, it isn't the novel’s sole focus; instead, the story explores self-acceptance, rekindling a love for life, and finding meaning even when time is running out. The writing is tender, introspective, and at times bittersweet, perfectly capturing the turmoil of growing up and the urgency of embracing who you are. Be prepared for an emotional ride - the world how we know it is ending.

    Buch (Gebundene Ausgabe)

    Gorgeous and moving book.

I just finished reading the book and I'm overwhelmed by my emotions over this book and the last chapters. It was so beautiful, wonderful, funny and sad. The book made me so happy and it made me feel seen. I am a lesbian and I love to see representation, because there isn't that much. Also reading about someone with depression and ... thoughts made me feel not so alone with it. I cried while reading the last three chapters. This whole story and adventure of Avery Byrne moved me so incredibly much. I recommend reading this book, it's so moving and beautiful.
