Portrait

Dr. Peng Cao is an associate professor of Materials Engineering in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, the University of Auckland, New Zealand. His group focuses on developing titanium powder technologies and new energy-storage materials. He has published over 200 journal articles, and five edited/authored book. He has organized 10 international conferences, of which he chaired or co-chaired three, and delivered approximately 20 keynotes/invited talks.
Dr. Zhigang Chen is Professor in Energy Materials at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. His expertise is in thermoelectrics, nanoelectronics, optoelectronics, and advanced microscopy. Prof. Dr. Chen has contributed more than 380 original journal publications, including top ranking journals, such as Chemical Reviews, Nature Nanotechnology, Energy & Environmental Science, Progress Materials Science, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie-International Edition, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, and Advanced Functional Materials.
Dr. Zhiguo Xia is currently a professor in the State Key Laboratory of Luminescent Materials and Devices, South China University of Technology. Professor Xia's research focuses on luminescent inorganic solids with a multi-disciplinary background covering luminescent materials, solid-state chemistry, crystal chemistry, X-ray diffraction, optics, and optoelectronic devices. Within his group, he has published more than 200 papers on luminescent inorganic solids in international journals with more than 8000 citations. He is now serving as an Associate Editor, Journal of Luminescence (Elsevier, Jan. 2017-present) and Editorial Advisory Board Member, Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters (ACS, Jan. 2020-present).
