Buch (Taschenbuch)

A book that hits hard and will always stay on your mind.

Tessa is a barrister and defends offenders who have enough money for a good barrister like her. She knows how she can make them look innocent, how to pressure the victim of sexual crimes into spilling details that could lead to a conviction in favor of the defendant. She knows that it is just her job and the way it is, until something happens that changes her mind completely. This book will make you mad and question so many things. I loved it and hated everything about its unfairness at the same time.
