35 inspiring papercraft projects, from stylish notebooks and printed cards to garland decorations and patterned lanterns.
Discover how to create useful and innovative papercraft projects with this beautifully illustrated step-by-step guide. The designs require just some paper or card and a few basic tools and materials to make. Many of the projects use recycled materials such as old magazines, greetings cards, scraps of wallpaper or corrugated cardboard, offering an eco-friendly way to craft. For the home, learn how to make plant-pot slipcovers, a punched lampshade and a clog advent calendar. Try your hand at making simple and striking decorations such as cascading leaf garlands, printed butterflies and moths and festive silver-leaf pinecones. There's also a chapter of stylish and practical stationery designs including spring bouquet cards made using magazine pages, printed clipboards and bold cut-out notebooks. The projects guide you through a variety of techniques including papercutting, découpage, printing and collage, and all the steps are explained with easy-to-follow illustrations.
