mixed emotions

This book hit me harder than I expected. Die letzte Unterhaltung isn’t about big events or drama — it’s about that quiet, painful moment when you realise that having “everything” doesn’t mean you’re fulfilled. Andreas Beer writes with such clarity and empathy that it feels almost uncomfortable at times, like looking in a mirror you’d rather avoid. It’s a short read, but it stays with you. Thoughtful, raw, and painfully human — one of those rare books that makes you stop and think about your own life long after you’ve closed it.
