This year has been rough for fourteen-year-old Scott Chester, especially since his father died while serving for the military in Afghanistan. He and his mother depend on each other more than ever. They are sent to protect and assure the boy that he has the strength within to survive his monumental loss. But what no one knows is that anyone who crosses Scott's path is in for a world of hurt. He also discovers a treasure in the midst of it all.
