This book delves into the transformative impact of cloud computing on the IT landscape, highlighting its pay-per-use accessibility over the internet. Emphasizing the critical role of reliability in cloud services due to the intricate nature of cloud components, it explores challenges associated with factors like fault tolerance, scalability, and resource allocation. The complexity of interactions among these components renders traditional reliability models less applicable. The book introduces a backfilling algorithm with analytical hierarchical process (AHP) to optimize resource allocation in response to increasing user demands, aiming to improve performance and mitigate issues. Security concerns, including data integrity, theft, authentication attacks, and denial-of-service attacks, are also discussed, underscoring the importance of addressing these issues to maintain user trust in cloud computing.
